In order to be eligible to score from a home or office location with Pearson, you must have access to a computer that is in good working condition without the need for repairs and is free of viruses, spyware, malware and/or other software that may impede its operation. While Pearson makes every effort to anticipate all potential software conflicts, meeting the minimum PC requirements does not guarantee that all computers will be compatible with Pearson's scoring system.
Scorers must meet the minimum requirements for home computing hardware, monitor, and Internet bandwidth in order to be eligible for the program. For security reasons, scorers may not use shared office computers or work from institutional computer labs.
Operating System Requirements
We only support scoring on the following internet browser: Google Chrome. Operating System requirements are based on Google Chrome's requirements.
Please note that we do not currently support scoring on mobile phones or tablets with the iOS or Android systems, or on computers running Linux or older Mac operating systems*.
*Older versions of Mac OS X (10.5 or earlier with a PowerPC processor) are not compatible with Google Chrome. Therefore, updating the Operating System on a computer with a PowerPC processor will still be incompatible with Chrome. Please see this page on Apple's website to identify whether your Mac contains an Intel or a PowerPC processor.
